C. Franco/British Workshop
Throughout the last 2 years, I have been
involved with the running of a
Franco/British Workshop, acting as English Organiser/co-ordinator, within the Plouec-du-Trieux
Association. We
currently meet once a week for 2 hours, where both language and cultures
are shared. It is very successful with over 70 members (35 English & 35
French). This has proved to be an excellent way to meet and make French
and English friends.
If required, I would be more than happy to introduce you to our many
French and English members who are
living within our region. Making friends can be one of the hardest parts of
living abroad.
D. Reason for selling our beautiful longère
Whilst living in France we have been running a French branch of our UK company
from here. Unfortunately we are now finding that my husband spends more and more time in
the UK with our UK employees and clients. So we have decided to
re-locate so we can spend more time together. It has been a very
difficult decision, especially with the almost completion of the 52sqm
workshop. But this was constructed with other purposes in mind - for
example we have put in the provision for a stairway to the 1st floor, and
openings have been left to put in a large French window, which has superb
views over the countryside. We feel there are many options for the
prospective buyer to change the usage of this construction (planning
permissions permitting).
